First off, Ds2 always says, every single day he ahs a sore tummy. He still goes off to school though as we know it's a get out of school thing.

However last Sunday he had a touch of diarrohea(spelling) but was fine afterwards, no sickness nothing. he was off school anyway on monday as he had hospital apppointments. All week he has been saying the usual I've got a sore tummy. He has been having quite loose bowel movements, but not what I would call diarrohea. He has also been off his food, only wanting toast for tea, and asking for hot water bottles. Now I msut admit I did think he was putting it on, as DS1 has been off school, sick and DS2 is most put out and jealous about this.
Anyway he has come home from school with the usual sore tummy and had the most awful diarrohea and it was very smelly and terrible wind as well. he was bent over holding his tummy and is now in bed with a hot water bottle. He says he wants no tea, jsut some toast, and looks very pale. Is this just a bug, or does the fact that it has sort of been happening all week mean its a bit mroe than just a bug?

i think bugs can last this long, but i'd see the doctor personally.

Me too. Is his tummy tender on the opposite side to the appendix, which is on the rhs if you are him?
