My partner felt a cold come on last week. Just today he started feeling like he was going to get sick (nausea) and he has body aches.
Is there some sort of a bug going around and is it presenting itself like this? Starting as cold symptoms and then turning into a flu type of sickness? His chest is sore from coughing.
I was begging with him not to go to work til he was better or on the mend but he never listened to me. He felt the need to keep on going. I don't know if there's any toileting issue like diarrhoea.
One of his colleagues is now off sick too. Its hard to say if it's a separate thing or if he's passing on a dose.
It's not the first time he has behaved like this with sickness. Norovirus flew around his work and his family and me during the summer. We don't live together. I know strange set up. I isolated for 24 hours with my dose of V+D and I never passed it on.
Anyways, I met him on Tuesday morning. He was OK at that time. He definitely had a cold going on.
What are the chances that I end up getting sick.
I am not able to get sick anymore. There is so much going on right now. I have an underlying condition too so I am somewhat more vulnerable to other sicknesses too.
I also have so much going on with work and trying to get Christmas shopping finished.
