Strep/Tonsillitis?

Hi all,

My daughter is off school today with a painful throat, headache and body aches. She also has a bit of a cough and runny nose. Her throat looks like it has spots/blisters. I’m trying to get her checked by a doctor but been told to call back at 2.

What do you guys think? More likely tonsillitis?

Strep

Doesn't look like tonsillitis/strep to me, looks more like cobblestone throat which my DS used to get from allergies.

Strep can cause tonsillitis

Make sure she is seen in person following the call. I’ve got the whole family off sick atm.

By the way, I wouldn't say it looks like viral tonsillitis either.

Tonsils would be white covered and swollen for bacterial tonsillitis, or red and swollen for viral tonsillitis. Those tonsils looks fairly normal to me
