Head injury

I hit my head on my bedroom door about 2 hours ago and have a cut on my forehead that's about 2 inches long and very narrow. It's still bleeding a little bit, should I go to hospital to get it stitched or will it stop? Sorry, I know you're not all psychic, I'm a bit over emotional and panicky (don't like blood).

Thanks for replying, I'm waiting in A&E now because it's still seeping a bit. I feel a bit like I'm overreacting though!

pick up some steristrips trim them to fit and apply pressure

Don't feel daft, you're there now. It'll be cleaned and sorted properly - it'll probably need either gluing or steristrips. Or both! X

I expect they will glue it to reduce scaring.
I've tried leaving and stitching the difference was huge.
