Hi all
Just wanted to pick your brains r.e symptoms I've had recently
Had some kind of viral illness 2 weeks ago (I think..) - sinus issues, pressure in head, dizzy, ears ringing, some hearing loss + blurred vision, fever on/off, joint pain, exhaustion, paleness + a few other symptoms and thought probably covid but apparently not.
Ended up in A&E during this week with very high heart rate, they did bloods etc and said must be viral infection and that bloods are within normal limits.
Symptoms still continuing and just not feeling myself.
I've had swollen lymph nodes for about 4+wks - not painful, some firmer than others, some can be moved/manipulated and some can't, present on both sides.
Last couple days I've also noticed red pin-prick spots on my skin in clusters (maybe about 15 dots in total), not raised or tender? I've also been drenched in sweat when I've woken up but my smart watch says normal body temp throughout the night.
Am I just being irrationally worried do you think?
Another question - my recent bloods are within normal limits but some of the readings for the different white blood cells are quite different to blood tests I've had over the last few years:
- neutrophil count has tripled
- lymphocytes slightly higher,
- monocytes more than doubled
- eosinophil minimal change
- basophils lower
I am aware results can vary a bit and that infection etc can impact, but I'm wondering if this is something that should be taken into account/test should be repeated?
Will obviously be touching base with a medical professional, but wanted your thoughts? I don't feel the GPs I've seen have been very thorough (but how can they with 10min appointments and hundreds of patients to see), so had considered private consultation also.
Thanks
