MRI Liver Scan

I have been booked in for one of these as a small lesion was found on ultrasound in my liver.

I wondered if they find anything else on MRI would they let you know. Have been told it is just for the liver.

I had an ultrasound on my gallbladder and that found solid focal lesions on my liver so they referred me for a CT scan.

That scanned most of the torso and reported on everything it saw.

When I had an MRI on a lump in my leg they only scanned the specific area and reported on that.

My lesions were benign fatty lumps, so fingers crossed for you.

Thanks Skye, the ultrasound says probably a benign hemangioma, but needs MRI to check.
