ERCP Gallstone Procedure whilst pregnant

I have gallstones and I am in the 2nd trimester. I have been experiencing extremely bad gallbladder attacks and the last one ended with pancreatitis and admission to hospital.

The pancreatitis was a result of a number of stones blocking the duct which comes out of the gallbladder. Where I am pregnant they refuse to remove my gallbladder unless a medical emergency. The solution here was to do an modified ERCP (a standard one includes stone removal, a spinchotomy and putting in a stent more radiation but they didn't do the spinchotomy or stone removal because the longer you are in the procedure the more radiation they have to use so wanted to reduce the risk to the baby) so all they did was put in a stent.

However since having it done, every 10mins I have a intense squeezing pain in my back. Doctors said its probably stones. I am worried this was a big mistake - it does not stop stones from entering the duct, and it looks as though on the photo stones cant pass out the bottom as easily because of the stent comes out the bottom?! It is a pigtail stent.

Did anyone else have this squeezing pain? Doctors says there is nothing else to be done until I have the baby or unless I come back in and its life threatening.
