Tired, stress, anxiety, caffeine.
I get a twitchy eye lid when I'm tired.

DonutWorry · 28/11/2022 16:53

I get it too if I don't get enough sleep and drink too much caffeine, sorry about your break up, look after yourself x

Yes, the ‘bubble eye’ feeling, I always get it when I’m stressed and staring at my screen for too long..

Fatigue, stress. Go to bed early and take a magnesium supplement which helps with muscle twitches.

mrsharrisgoestoparis · 28/11/2022 20:18

Hi I have had this with food intolerances and also with acid reflux

Bigslippers · 28/11/2022 20:21

I can get a twitchy eye for days if Im tired. I dont know why but I find it amusing and run to the mirror so I can see it twitching back at me
If you’re talking to someone prewarn them that you have a twitch coming on as it can look like you’re pulling faces 🤣

Passmeaplacard · 28/11/2022 20:29

It’s a sign of tiredness for me.
maybe try some gentle methods to help you sleep better, CBD spray or antihistamine based sleeping tablets
Sometimes you just need a few good nights sleep

Tiredness and stress

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 28/11/2022 20:43

Used to get a twitch in my thumb that scared the life out of me but it's stress, lack of sleep, too much caffeine - as is your eye twitch, probably. You've just come out of a 3 year relationship as well, it could be a reaction to the stress that caused.

Silverpossum · 28/11/2022 20:44

Can be stress and tiredness. For me recently it was because my prescription had changed and I needed new glasses.

Anonymousgirlxoxox · 28/11/2022 21:58

Ok maybe stress related then & tiredness. Definitely not caffeine as don't touch that. Have been drinking wine every night so could well be that too.

Most likely tiredness or stress. If it doesn't go away it might be worth a blood test, mine ended up being caused by very low b12!

DandelionPockets · 28/11/2022 22:06

I get it when stressed and just have to wait for it to go again as the stress level reduces.

BritInAus · 28/11/2022 22:08

Yep - as per PP, tiredness, stress etc. Magnesium helps.
