Had an allergic reaction to something on Friday evening. Swollen itchy eyes that I could hardly keep open, coughing, itchy throat inside and out. I have no idea what this was in response to.
I don’t have any known significant allergies, usual summer hayfever but nothing else and never had a reaction that severe before.
Moving forward to today, my eyes are still itchy and sore, with occasional blurry vision. I have spoken to a pharmacist who recommended a stronger antihistamine.
I have taken this and my eyes are still very itchy, I have a runny nose, a slight fever as well as fatigue. Does this sound a usual response to the aftermath of an allergic reaction or something else possibly? A colleague has suggested it could be my immune system showing an underlying issue?!
