Morning sickness help

Hi, I'm currently 6.5 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I'm REALLY struggling with morning sickness. I've been constantly feeling nauseous, and regularly being sick throughout the day every day for four days now (although there isn't much substance to what comes up, it's more like a mixture of thick saliva and liquid). I honestly don't know what to do with myself, especially if I may still have WEEKS of this left. I've tried ginger biscuits, ginger ale, travel bands, getting lots of sleep, and eating very plain food little and often (toast/rice). I'm currently off work with a 'sickness bug' as I can't physically manage to go in, and they don't yet know I'm pregnant. Any advice would be gladly accepted. Please help!

Ah sympathies OP. I do not miss those days. I had it right up until labour.
try eating a plain bit of toast or a dry biscuit before you even sit up in bed in the morning, just nivvle away on it slowly.
Sounds like you've tried most things. Try getting some mild peppermint mints or something to suck on. Not too strong in flavour. Ice lollies?! Worth a try.
Some people find a really random food or drink that seems to help them, it could be a certain flavour crisp or a fizzy drink or juice. Trial and error!! I hope it passes soon for you and doesn't stick around too long. Also, congratulations xx

I had severe sickness for 40 weeks of both pregnancies.
Ginger biscuits and all the rest don't touch it and I got fed up of people suggesting wrist bands etc.
All I can say is try to eat what you can. If you can tolerate high calorie shakes then have them. Plain rice was all I could manage some days and I lost a lot of weight. The good news is that the baby takes it's nutrition first. I had two healthy 8lb+ babies.
If it gets too bad see your doctor. I had to spend some time in hospital.
