Help!! Bladder Prolapse

I've been feeling constipated for a few days. Nothing seems to be shifting it. I now have lots of pressure, had a look in the mirror to see this (dreadful drawing attached)
Now after a bit of a cry I've googled and think it's a bladder prolapse. I don't think it's my uterus as I have a coil which I can feel further up and I feel I need a wee all the time.
I had a rubbish birth (4th degree tear and physio after for poor sphincter control) but have been ok since.
I'm useless at doing pelvic floor exercises but desperately doing them now.
So what do I do? Is it an urgent GP appointment? Do I go to work tomorrow with this thing bulging at the entrance of my vagina? What's the treatment?

From what you’ve described it may be a bladder prolapse indeed. Lots of women have this, especially after difficult vaginal births. Treatment is normally a pessary. I thought I had one once, turns out I didn’t, but I did loads of research at the time. I think the main treatment is a pessary. There loads of support groups on Facebook as there are many many thousands of women up and down the country with prolapses. I’ll see if I can link to the Facebook groups

Thank you. I should add that my traumatic birth was 6 years ago so not recently. But probably hasn't helped the situation.

Sounds like a rectocele to me. If it is, it can improve with time and pelvic floor exercises or with surgery. Make a Dr. appt.

I don't think it's coming from my rectum as I can put my finger in my vagina between the bulge and my anus. So think the bulge is coming from the front area rather than the back.

Hi. I just wanted to come on here to say that whatever you do in the meantime try to keep feet up on a step so knees are above hips. If you are doing a poo. And try not to strain. This makes a big difference to stop things getting worse. I would also recommend looking in to hypopressives as well as kegels.

Hello, just scrolled through here, didn't find much. Yours is the latest post. Wondered how you got on. I went to my GP (huh, phone appointment with nurse which was 5 weeks wait!!! She called in Dr (I have lichen sclerosis) Dr said there was a "bit" of a prolapse. I assumed uterine. Saw a gynae consultant, who said prolapse. When I received copy letter from her, discovered cystocele. I had weeks of terrible pain,pu ING every 30,15,then 5 minutes, rang surgery, had to do MSU which of course was negative. Receptionist was horrible, told her I was in agony, she told me to ring 111, I did,had a 5 hour wait, they did text twice apologies,I gave up. I actually do kegel excercises every single night, have done for years. Impossible to even get reply from surgery on phone. Wondered if you have got anywhere.

I came on here because after weeks of experiencing bladder infections and taking antibiotics I still had problems very cystitis like symptoms and light blood when weeing, this week I felt a bulge in my Virginia, I got very scared thinking the worst ..my Dr rang and I have an appointment in 2 days, my question is I think it's a prolapse not sure what organ but I think it's bladder as I have the urge to wee all the time and feel really uncomfortable, I've had 3 kids all naturally my youngest is 20 yrs old ...what treatment will they offer me ..just to add I was on my own after being divorced 10 years ago and have met up with an old male friend a year ago that I've known for 30 years us and it's going really well, in fact he's moving in soon and apart from my problem I'm really happy and he's really supportive ...please advise
