Hi, is anyone a qualified dentist on here? I have a appointment with my dentist next Monday but was looking for some advice. Thanks

I’m 36 years old and have just noticed this on the underside of my tongue (circled in purple) it is tender but not overly sore. The mark near the middle of tongue was my tongue piercing. Could this be a ulcer although it isn’t like the usual ulcers I get. I do have a appointment booked in on Monday to get a filling done so will mention this to my dentist.

Hi my camera isn’t very clear at taking pictures. I didn’t think it was a ulcer as usually when I have a ulcer it’s yellow/white in middle and painful. I’m not sure how long it has been there it has no redness or white in or around it it looks like same colour as rest of tongue but looks like a indent ( a bit like a scar) if that makes sense
