How many people suffer from it?

I don't generally but do have phases usually after a phase of not taking care of my diet as I should. I then get into a pattern that's hard to break.. bowels are stubborn creatures of habit aren't they??!

Does anyone have any good natural tips for getting sluggish bowels back into a healthy pattern again?

I suffer from it. sorry to say. some people drink hot water with lemon juice first thing.I have tried molasses in hot milk, senna tea, liquorice, I get loads of exercise, fruit - I find a large bunch of grapes useful, and water, but medication i take causes dehydration.
Docs recommend lactulose syrup which doesnt stimulate the bowel articificially but "softens the stool" (!!)
before trying to reclaim my health, I swore bya strong coffee and a nice roll up to do the trick.
