Shingles tends to affect only one side of the body. The spots look blistery.

If this sounds like your rash, get medical advice. You may be able to get anti viral meds. Get well soon.

It looks very similar to when I had shingles. Like the pp said, shingles will only present on one side of the body and comes out of only one nerve ending at a time. If that is the save patch from two different angles, it could well be shingles.

Shingles is usually in a line along a nerve. It could be. Have you been ill recently ?

MilkyBarKid1 · 19/11/2022 09:04

Haven't been ill, I've found some spots the other side but they aren't in a line and not as big as this side. I'll go to pharmacy hopefully they can tell me. Hope it's not shingles, I'm breastfeeding and it's along my side so not sure how to cover them to protect the baby if it is.

Hi did you find out what this is as I have exactly the same thing?

MilkyBarKid1 · 01/12/2022 10:25

No sorry it didn't progress into anything, spots faded but marks left behind. How are yours?

Mine was very odd as they didn’t itch at first and then they became itchy and tingly but past few days (10 days on) they have gone down but it feels and looks like they’ve scarred the area as I can still see and feel them. The itching and prickling also went round to my stomach and is still active but there is nothing visible, very strange!!
