Blood test result query

Hello my daughter 20, has
Just had blood tests done and one of them says 'nucleated red cells automated' 10*9/L Organisation will show value on 14th December. I've never seen this on results before and wondered if anyone knows what it means and why it takes so long for the result. I have googled but it doesn't seem like a straight forward thing with an answer. I'd be so grateful if anyone understands what this means.

I'm not quite sure but usually when this test is done they are looking to see if these cells are present in the blood stream.

Thank you

Just curious what happened here? Mine has done the same, almost a month delay.

Did it turn out to be a normal result?

i have regular blood tests - there are always the same tests that the system hold back for a month NRBC is one of them and there are a few others. I understand it’s because they want for a HCP to review them before the patient sees them. This is an automated thing that I’ve been told can’t be over ridden.
i asked to get visibility of mine (I have a blood cancer so I know my numbers are out of range), but apparently this is a default that can’t be changed.
I just email the nurse to get the numbers directly.

To confirm - they get held back whether or not they are in or out of range.
