Bruise on left breast & soreness

I am 30 years old & family have a history of breast cancer.

About a week ago I rubbed my hand over my left breast and it had a sore feeling. When I looked I had a bruise in a half moon shape. The bruise is still there now & my whole breast feels sore (can’t explain other than an aching / tenderness)

Worrying about this but also worried I will get fobbed off by the GP because of my age.

Has anybody had anything similar?

The GP is unlikely to fob you off. Breast cancer doesn't care how old you are. Or which sex.

You'll likely get the opposite of being fobbed of by the GP. They have a low threshold of criteria to send someone to the breast clinic, often on a two week pathway. This is because they are not experts at all in this field, and the majority of cases are sent to the breast clinic to be confirmed as something benign, not to diagnose cancer, but obviously there are a small amount of cancer diagnosis' that happen.

Thank you both for your replies.

I am still having pain so I am going to ring the Drs tomorrow!
