Would a lumbar mri also show hips?

As the title asks. I have had a clear lumbar mri but my hips and pelvis feel so unstable (which i think cause the back pain) that I don't know what move to make next with calling the gp.

If my hips had issues would this have been seen on the lumbar mri or would it literally just be the spine?

Thank you

I don't know if this is of any help.. but I had a scan on my pelvic area, and low and behold that is when they discovered I had lower lumbar scoliosis as they could see the lower end of my spine curving.. which then lead to further scans of my spine. So possibly?!

I had lower back and hip pain and I think I had two or three separate scans: one of lower back and one of hips. Or one of each hip so three in total.

Thanks so much, sorry I didn't reply until now I forgot I made the thread (damn ADHD).
I will have to go back to the GP then and see what they can do next! I think there was some talk with the physio of steroid injections and pain management clinic too.

I went to GP with hip and back pain in April.
Had a lumbar MRI in September and was hoping there would be mention of hips but there was nothing. It picked up lumbar stenosis and disc bulge but I am convinced there is some hip issue as well.
