Due to have this soon, with sedation.
If you've had it, how painful was it afterwards and how long until you recovered?
I'm having it done on a Tuesday and we had plans to go away the following Saturday. Even if I can't eat much, will I feel like going?

You should feel fine but your mouth will be sore and you may need soups, ice cream, yogurt and humus

I was very very swollen for about two weeks after the op. I wouldn’t have enjoyed going away / out much, I looked rather odd. If you can postpone it, I would.
