Eye pupil

Is it common for one pupil to be a different shape to the other?
I've put both pictures of my eyes to show you the difference.

One of mine is perfectly round the other is not, I've probably had it since forever and have been to the opticians loads in the past and nothing has been said.
Just interested to know if there is a reason for this or just something that happens.

Hey, I've just seen this as it was in 'similar threads' to one I've just been reading in active.
This could potentially be an underlying issue. Get checked out with optician. Especially if it's recent.
But, my ds has the same issue but he was born with it. He still has to go for eye tests every year to monitor it and make sure it stays the same shape/size but it's never caused any problems.

I haven't been to the opticians for a while so will make an appointment.
