How long for periods to return post pill?

How long after stopping the birth control pill did it take for your periods to return? I have been on it around 8 years and will be stopping in Feb, just wondered what other people's experiences were like.

Straight away, but less regular, I had maybe an extra few days one cylce or maybe a few less. Some people are worse but ime usually similar but less regulated, hth?

ps plus apparently your hormones can take a bit of a surge so you could be extra fertile...you may be wanting this...you may not! Just watch out!

Thanks bramblina - I hope they return pretty soon - will be nice to get back to normal. Not looking to ttc at the moment tho so will have to watch out for that extra fertile thing....
