Lysine and HSV

Does anyone suffer from HSV and take lysine?

Does it help? How much do you take? Do you take it during flare up or everyday? Do you take it for breakouts on your face or under carriage ?

Yeah I don't know if I've taken it long enough or if it's worth it. How much do you take ?

Is this cold sores? If yes taking it daily cut outbreaks from about 6/8 weekly to about 6 monthly. 1000mg daily, double when the tingle starts.

Yes I do but only when I get an outbreak, 1000mg daily. Also use lyseine cream from Holland and Barrett, new one in a tiny tube. And for my last one I also used propolis directly on it which really helped, didn’t look so awful and went away quicker.
