Anal itching, piles or worms

Hi everyone

I’ve been so itchy on my back passage for a few months now. This happened about a year ago, rang doctor as I suspected piles (no physical piles but itchy and blood when I wiped) she prescribed suppositories and cream and got rid of it straight away.

went back to doctor this time around, she prescribed a cream which wasn’t in stock anywhere (I stupidly waited ages for another appointment, hve weird anxiety about wasting doctors time) in the mean time I got some anusol and some germaloid suppositories, haven’t helped at all. Finally spoke to a doctor again today and they’ve prescribed me anusol! I didn’t know it was this until I went to the pharmacy otherwise would have asked for something else! But now I think I have thrush again, this is driving me crazy I’m applying the creams but I’m still so itchy I can’t cope! looking online and at similar threads I thought maybe worms but I can’t see any in my stool and not sure how I would of caught it, is it worth taking the treatment for worms just in case?

thanks anyone for any advice I’m going mad haha
