I was admitted into hospital for acute cholecystitis, I was given antibiotics & fluids. They discharged me & now I have to go to an MRI scan this month.
While I've been waiting on this scan, I also had my bloods done at my GP office & they said I had a folate deficiency. I've been given folic acid tablets for 4 months.
Since I've been dealing with all of this, my body just does not feel the same. My muscles ache, I'm getting pins and needles in my arms, feeling nauseous in the mornings, headaches, back pain etc. I feel really run-down and it's making me depressed and anxious. All of this has caused me to put getting pregnant on hold, I've been trying to get pregnant for a while - up until all this happened.
Did anyone else go through something similar? How was the surgery and process of removal of your gallbladder? And how long did it take you to feel normal again?
