Infected toe?

Hello - I'll try and keep this short and sweet. Apologies in advance for my grim toe.

Back story - I was in hospital for an unrelated reason a few weeks back. Showed a nurse my toe because it was sore, she said it was infected, spoke to the doctor, he said the antibiotics I was already on would cover it. Obviously it didn't (it did get better, but I mustn't have had them for long enough!) And as it got worse again, I saw the AMP at the GPs last Monday. I've taken my last antibiotics this afternoon, and this was my toe this morning.

Does it still look infected? I have a GP appointment on Friday for this that I haven't cancelled yet incase it doesn't get any better. I have no idea what they should look like when healing!

Also, I don't normal take care of my nails.. obviously cut too short, and now don't want to paint or remove existing nail varnish for obvious reasons!

Thank you
