An up down tummy ache

DD (4) is complaining of tummy ache in her chest and abdomen and often cries in pain. Sometimes I know it is wind or hunger, but other times I dont have a clue. It has only started in the last week, but has coincided with a cold and bad (night and early morning)cough, which could be hurting her chest and stomach. I can't get her in to a GP until tomorrow and because I was coming to work missed a GP calling me back (double )

I have instructed DH to keep her dosed on calpol and nurofen, but am loathed to think it is worse than it is because when she has other stuff to do she can forget about it.

Also she has her BF party tomorrow and wants to go so said she will eat more to make the pain go away.

I have told her she needs to eat better and drink more as she is not very good with her appetite or her diet, and she is trying.

But how much of her 'tummy ache' is tummy ache and how much is attention. DH and I have been having a few bad patches recently and I wonder if this is her reaction to us - although we are better now.

could be either of threee things that i can think of (might be totally wrong) i would be thinking of A. attention, B. acid reflux, C, she has pulled a muscle with all the coughing.

Went to GP, he thinks it's a pulled muscle or a bug that's gone to her tummy from a cold. Eithre way she has ony complained once today and not at all since going to see the doctor...fingers crossed.

Howver he has asked for a sample of she complains into the weekend in case of bladder infection, but he felt her tummy and is'nt too worried.
