I've had an itchy foot for over a year. What else can I try?! Have done all the over the counter things, followed the instructions, in fact used them longer than they say. Binned all my shoes at one point. Nothing much to show for it visibly. At best over summer itchy sole that I can keep on top of by using E45 itch relief cream twice a week. But getting worse again now I'm wearing socks and slippers, back between my toes and annoying me more. Suggestions welcome!!!

Talk to a pharmacist.
Then if they can’t sort it, see a GP.

Ymmv, but i use footner to take off the top layer of skin, then use lamisol once directly after. Probably have to do it once a year, but works for me when nothing else did.

I had it for 3 years and tried every topical treatment going. In the end I went to the GP and got the tablets. It had gone into the nails by then whichis really hard to get rid of. Never had it back since.

They just point me at lamisil etc and tell me to bin my shoes. Which I did. I've messaged the GP just thought I'd see what other people said while I'm waiting to hear back.

What tablets are they, @LegoLady95 ?

@Reluctantadult Terbinafine. I think they are quite strong, I had to have liver function tests while taking them, so they are a last resort, but I was desperate and could feel itching under the nail that I couldn't reach and it was keeping me up at night.

Yeah I bet! My foot sometimes disturbs my sleep and that's reachable.
