Cold symptoms

For about a month now I've been feeling like I'm about to get a cold - headache, tingling at back of nose, cough and slightly sore throat. All mild and come and go but notice them every day for a few hours. Has anyone else experienced similar? I did a Covid test early on which was negative.

Could it be sinus trouble?

Razzlefrazzle · 05/11/2022 19:02

Hadn't thought of that but yes. Sorry if tmi but I can feel myself swallowing mucus. Should I try something like Sudafed do you think?

Yes, do. Go to the chemist, the pharmacist will advise you but it does sound like sinuses. If it persists though, give GP a ring.

Sounds like sinus. I suffer from it a lot of the time all year. Decongestants are useful I find or nasal spray. I also get shops own make as cheaper than sudafed.

I find most decongestants too harsh, they make the lining of my nose itch.

This remedy sounds much worse than it is: a close of raw garlic, crushed between two spoons, swallowed quickly and with a full glass of water chaser.

You can feel your sinuses drying out almost immediately. Repeat until all sorted. Usually only takes a few days.
