Other than plenty of rest, lots of fluid and pain relief if and when needed, I'm not too sure. What glands are swollen?
I hope she feels better soon x

I think it's a lymph-node up near her ear and under the jaw , she's in bed now but think will get through the weekend then possibly get on to the doctor Monday morning x

Oh love her.
Keep her fluids up and pain eased if there is any, and hopefully it's viral and doesn't last too long for both your sakes.
As you said, GP Monday if they're still swollen and she's still not right but don't hesitate to be seen by out of hours if she isn't right over the weekend, especially with any temperature, refusing fluids etc. X

Thanks for the advice , think it's just time she's recently been unwell with pneumonia and pluricy so think it could just be raised due to previous infection . X
