Breast suddenly drooping and pain

Hello

Ive had a bad pain in my ribs on my right side for about a week- I’ve had a persistent cough for a few months so thought it was a pulled muscle relating to this. But I’ve just looked at myself in the mirror and noticed my right breast has sagged down below my left one (not sure on how to describe it!)
has this happened to anyone before? They were at the same level yesterday!!
im panicking slightly!
Don’t want to contact the doctors if it’s normal, and we also don’t have any female gps at my practice apart from Thursdays

The 'cough for months' would more than justify a gp visit. Tell them ALL your symptoms, a male gp will be looking at you as a sick person, that's all. Take someone with you if you can, or I'm sure surgery will be able to provide a chaperone if you need one.

Excellent advice 👍

Could be your breasts have always been uneven but it’s not something you normally give attention to.

Try not to panic.
As said above, having a cough for months is something you ought to get checked out, it could well be nothing but always worth getting it seen to.
As for the breasts, you may of never noticed it to that extent before. I'd advise to be seen just because it's never nice to sit there worrying and over thinking things. As for male GPs, from past experience they can be amazing with things like this. And you're entitled to a chaperone, they will ask if you'd like one I'm sure - male and female GPS have always asked with me with more intimate things!
I have one breast visibly bigger and sits lower than the other - perfectly normal and healthy breasts here x

Ultimately we can’t diagnose you and it would be irresponsible to try. It’s probably all fine, but you’re not going to feel at ease until you’ve been seen by a doctor. You can do it - be brave and pick up that phone. It’ll be five minutes of feeling embarrassed and then you’ll feel so much better for having gone to the appointment. 💐
