Getting a bit nervous about eye surgery

Its on friday. I've talked about it a bit before. Its supposed to be very simple. I had cataract surgery last march. Capsule holding lens implant has clouded over. They use a laser to cut the back of the capsule away. Had an attempt at it in July but surgeon decided after starting it that it was too difficult and fled the room for advice. Very traumatic occasion. Then went for it again in december but my consultant who was supposed to do it was on holiday and the registrar there said that he didnt want to have a go and my consultant needed to do it.

So, third time lucky? I wasnt nervous first time but after two refusals I'm pretty scared. Hence I've been utterly overworking to take my mind off it. I really really hope it goes well and that it actually happens. It would be lovely to be firing on both eyes again.

Good luck badkitten. I had laser surgery five years ago, is deeply unpleasant but not painful and well worth it. At worst you will be in the same place on Monday, but at best it could be a complete success, painless and you could be gazing at the snowdrops and complaining about global warming by Saturday

that would be lovely wmmc.
and lol at the global warming - if it all goes well than am planning Fence Erection Part 2 on saturday, only we might be having snow showers.
I'm desperately trying to hyperfocus (no pun intended) on getting our fence up.
