Nosebleeds after cauterization

Hi all. My boy is 7 and he has a long history of nosebleeds. He had his nose cauterized 2 days back. Today he had 2 ( fairly big) nosebleeds already, the ent dr said he's got a deviated septum which makes him get so many nosebleeds. I wasn't expecting this , I thought cauterization would fix it for him ? Is it normal, I will give a call to gp tomorrow but meanwhile if anybody can share their experiences here that would really help my nerves. Many thanks 💗

Ps; Posted in children's health too but no help there.

Do the nosebleeds happen after a bang to the nose or just spontaneously? Does anyone else in the family have regular or heavy nosebleeds?

Most bleeds aren’t too serious and children can be prone. There are sometimes other causes. If there are relatives that have bleeds then there might be a genetic condition. That might lead to different treatment. If you think things might be more serious don’t Google until you have spoken to doctor as it can be scaring yourself for no reason at all.

It's just happening all the time without any injury (nothing in past, just diagnosed with deviated septum)I am more concerned as it's still happening after being cauterized which I thought was the way out ofnosebleeds. Tried gp and they shrugged me off saying I need to contact the hospital and I've been bouncing here and there by the receptionist at the hospital now hoping to reach outpatients soon 😪
