Blue light glasses? Do they make a difference?

I work from home and constantly on a laptop, my eye sight is fine but I do get headaches and trouble sleeping. Do you think blue light glasses would help? Anyone used them and saw any benefits?

There was a BBC sounds podcast recently (sliced bread I think?) that said the whole 'blue light stops you sleeping' thing has been debunked, they point you to the research if you're interested.

Most displays have an eye comfort setting you could try in the display menu. Remember to blink regularly. Use eye drops. Take breaks. Get an eye test.

I think the problem for me is that I'm at a screen most of the day for work then again at night for fun/communication/life stuff. It's a huge proportion of the waking day. If I didn't have some outdoor hobbies it'd be easy to be at a screen all the time.

I have a bit, it was more noticeable at first. During lockdown I had headaches all the time and they definitely helped u less it was psychosomatic! Not so good when I get migraine symptoms.

A big yes from me
Cant explain why but it stops glare and is just so much kinder to my eyes
I work at a computer for 9 hours a day and would struggle with normal lens
I had a few days off recently and while on ipad just used my normal reading glasses. I had a headache for days andrealised that I hadn’t worn my anti glare ones
You can use your prescription and get them made up online. Glasses Direct etc (loads of diff ones) so much cheaper than high st opticians

Ds has bad migraine. He has had blue vision lenses for a few years now and he thinks they do help when he’s using a screen a lot for school.

Might definitely invest, a site online with good reviews has them on offer at the moment! Would love to hear further experience though. Thanks everyone!
