Hi guys,
So I had an x ray 3 weeks ago as had terrible pain on my left side in the back. It showed a 'bulkier hilum' and what looked like bruising and I was sent for an urgent CT scan. CT was 5 days ago and I recieved a letter today to attend an outpatient oppointment next week with a Thoracic consultant.
I'm pooping myself! What could this be and mean?
The CT was with contrast.
I have had an ongoing cough for a year or so now and was x rayed last March for said cough but nothing came of it. Im guessing what ever the hilum is is bulkier than last year?
Anyone had similar?
Would they summon me if it was nothing?
