£10 winter flu vaccine

For those not eligible for a free winter flu vaccine, Boots are offering a private vaccine for £10 TODAY (25 October), reduced from the normal £16.99.

Do you know how this offer works? I saw the banner across the top of the page and have booked an appointment for a family member but it didn’t give me the option to pay or anything to say it would be £10?

The banner says it’s a one day offer but you can book it for a day that suits you. So I’ve booked an appointment, but they have just sent confirmation of the date not that it would be £10 and no option to pay online today just says payment will be taking at the appointment. I guess they will know from their system that the appointment was booked today in 25th?

I selected the store/pharmacy I wanted to visit, the date of my preferred appointment and the time. I had to answer a medical Q&A then I paid my £10 (by card).

I'm in no way affiliated to Boots but I saw the promotion today and thought it would be helpful to share.

Hmm it didn’t give me the option to pay online, it said pay in store. I was using a browser on my phone though. I might pop into the store and ask but mine is a small store and short staffed so always crowded😬. I took a screenshot of the offer though, but when I went through the menu to book, it said pay in store. 🤔

@Startuplife ah thanks for that, might be worth booking with Tesco then. I did try and follow it up today in the local store but they said I need to speak to the store manager who wasn’t in 🤯
