right, difficult to know where to start, ive just made a doctors appt and i dont know really if i should go or should just wait a bit longer to see what happens.

i came off the pill in sept and have had no period since, i am not pg.
I have put on over a stone in weight since sept and despite eating healthy and doing regular exercise have not lost any weight in fact have gained.
My hair is falling out, loads, on a daily basis, i did not notice this dh did... so it must be a lot for him to notice!
i have no sex drive at all ( very abnormal for me)
ive had skin tags appear in odd places, not something ive ever had before.
Ive turned into a moody cow bag.

I dont know if i should go to the doc or not, i know im overweight, and tbh am embarassed about that. but im begining to lose patience with not having a period, my other symptoms seem to be getting worse weekly. and i do want to start trying for another baby, but want to lose a stone first. Ive made an appt for tomorrow, do you think im being silly and should wait out a bit longer and try and loose some weight before i go to the docs?

sounds like you need either some reassurance that everything is normal, or some advice on what to do next. Your doc will be able to provide either of these and if you want to ttc, then the doc is the ideal first port of call imo.

Will you remember all this to tell your doc? You are being very sensible to go. If you are eating normally and doing exercise your weight gain might be to do with something else.

If my period is late I become very bad tempered. I can't imagine how you must feel month after month.

I hope all goes well tomorrow. It may help to print out this post so you don't forget anything!

IMO, (and not medically trained BTW, but I suffered in the past), it sounds to me like policystic ovary syndrome. Either that, or maybe your hormones are out of whack.

skipping periods for almost 6mths is a worry in itself tho, and something I would have been anxious about after just 2mths!

write down all symptoms before you go tho, as when you are there you will forget half of them.

good luck

i thought i was just being neurotic and feel reassured that i should visit the doc. will make a note of things and take it with me tomorrow.
i thought it could have something to do with coming off the pill... but maybe there is an underlying problem.

thanks

No harm in going to doc, I went post nataly for similar things and everything was fine, makes you feel better to get it checked out though.
