I keep getting weird nerve/muscle twitches in my abdomen. Some are low down and others are higher up. Also get some leg muscle twitches. What on earth could be causing it? I've had a fairly stressful couple of weeks, keep getting palpitations, have a hiatus hernia and suspect I'm low on iron (bloods being done tomorrow to check). I haven't mentioned the twitches to the gp as I was discussing something else last time I was there and forgot to mention it. I'll make another appointment for when my blood results are due I think but in the meantime, has anyone else ever experienced anything like this before? The twitches are freaking me out a bit. I've had a twitchy eye and lip before but they mostly pass within a day or so. I've had these abdominal ones for about a week now.
