HELP!!! Awful sty - how to get rid

It seems to be under skin in middle of the bottom of the eye. Tender to the touch and seemingly waiting until I'm out this weekend before erupting into a pus filled mess. Any tips on how to reduce swelling or get rid gratefully received!! I've tried warm compress but made no difference

Keep going with warm compresses for 10 mins at a time 3xa day.

Use salt water instead of just plain.

Chloramphenicol eye drops noticeably helped get rid of mine. Usually used for bacterial conjunctivitis but they do get prescribed for stubborn styes as well.

If it's a chalazion though it may stay around for months/years. I decided to get mine surgically removed after a few months (glad I did).
