Does this look like a suspicious mole ?

Looking at squamous cell carcinoma.

Apparently common in scar tissue - I've had this sore little skaley patch for months that never heals - it's in scar tissue from key hole surgery 10 years ago.

I have very pale skin , green eyes , skin doesn't tan - had a few holidays a few years ago where I exposed my skin to the sun .

I'm not panicking or anything- I'm not that fussed either way ! But got a gp telephone appt next week and wondered if I should mention this .

Had it for months , not a mole , just a dark scabby little patch of skin that does t heal .

Apologies now for the flabby stomach Blush. Menopause is a bitch . Got fatter this year !

Yes, I would mention a scaly patch that never heals to the gp. It can be a sign of skin cancer so it’s worth getting it checked.

I’ve had a lot of skin cancer in my family so always mention skin changes to my gp. So far they’ve always been nothing to worry about but I’m not a HCP so it’s worth getting the opinion of someone who is.

And your stomach is not fat!

Always get it checked. I get skin plaques and they're fine but they're white.

I'm also covered in these things but saw doctor 20 years ago who
Said cafe au lait spots but I've googled(yeah I know !) and they aren't bright red like mine are ? I've got this one on my thigh and quite a few also on my torso.

The red one looks like Campbell de Morgan spots, I have loads of flat ones on my torso, more so post menopause

Oh that's fine yes I agree ! Bloody hate aging !

Gues the one on the tummy is the one to ask for checking- it's on a scar and will not go away .

Thanks x

@stillvicarinatutu hope you don't mind me asking but did you get it checked? I've a sore patch for 7 weeks that is not healing. Hoping it's just a benign spot.
