Foot pain

I'm in agony and I'm not sure what I've done. I was walking back to my car this afternoon when I got a sharp pain in the underneath of my foot in the arch. I was nearly sick with the pain. It's very swollen and the pain is throbbing. I've sat with an ice pack on it for 2 hours and I've taken ibuprofen. I very nearly went to A&E as it was so bad. Could a tendon have snapped do you think ??

It could be plantar fasciitis. Keep doing what you’re doing and if the pain increases within the next day you might want to see your GP. Look up plantar fasciitis and see if it sounds like that.

This is very different to PF. I've had that before.

Oh dear might be more serious then. I’d call GP at least, in the morning if still really painful. Hope you feel better soon
