Cataracts

DH had his cataracts removed in November 2019, He had lenses inserted which meant he didn't need reading or distace glasses afterwards. Consultant told him his vision was good enough to fly a plane! Alls been well until probably the last five months or so when reading has become difficult and he needs glasses.

Saw the optician on Thursday and she said she thought there maybe some haze under the lenses but wants him to come back in ten days for drops and then a proper exam. Said it wasn't anything to worry about but may need some treatment. He thought she mentioned Laser but can't remember.

He's a Type II diabetic and hasn't had retinal screening recently but he's having his yearly check on Thursday and we can mention this to the Nurse but the optician seemed to think this was a different problem.

Thanks for reading.
