I’m on thyroxine, used to have tests 6 monthly I think, now it’s been over 12 months. How often do you get tested ?

I still get mine every 6 months, more often if I start to feel "off."

My GP has not asked me to test for about five years now. I usually ask if I am in anyway for something else.

I think anyone getting bi-annual or annual tests on the NHS now is doing very well.

My GP surgery makes me have a blood test every year.

My GP insists on every 6 months. Since menopause I now need double what I needed before.

I usually have a medication review every 12 months (it usually prompts me to do this on my repeat prescription slips) so am sent for bloods then. If my dosage is changed (as it did for 2 pregnancies) it's normally then reviewed after either a month or 6 months.
If you are concerned you are having symptoms that suggest your dosage may be off, I would certainly phone your GP and ask.

No, I’m not having symptoms, but I’m sure it used to be 6 monthly. I’ll ring tomorrow and ask.
