Frovatriptan shortage

I have been using frovatriptan for years to help with my menstrual migraines and I have never had an issue getting it from my chemist. This month I cannot find it anywhere, I live in London and I have tried around 20 chemists and nothing, they are all saying that is is out of stock. Has anyone had the same problem and if you did what other triptan have you used instead? It's the only medication that has helped so far with my menstrual migraines, I am terrified I won't be able to control them

I'm in Edinburgh, and it's the same here. I've tried all the other triptan meds and Frovatriptan is the only one that works for me. I've had migraines since I was a kid so I'm going to be struggling to function without this. I have an appointment later today to review the situation, so if they suggest a different med I will let you know.

Same here, I’ve tried all the pharmacies local to me in East Sussex. None of them can get Frovatriptans. I’m hoping my doctor has a solution as I am down to my last two Frovatriptans.

Does sumatriptan not work for you? I find that the most widely available... although now I'm on preventative meds for my migraines I barely need it.

Before they gave me Frov I had a different triptan but I can't remember which one. Mercifully, now I'm old I don't get the migues so often, but I asked for some Frovatriptan a couple of weeks ago and when I went for my 2 things at doc's dispensary the lady said she'd ring me because they haven't got any at present.
