Hi all. I have a rough week with sleep, as my daughter has been unwell, and very wakeful. On Tuesday night it was particularly bad, and I woke up with VERY sore and tight trapezius muscles on both sides. I assumed I had slept funny, and that it would quickly correct itself. Now 4 days on, the left side is much better, but the right side (between my neck and shoulder blade) is just awful.
Painful every time I move, and awful overnight.
I have been taking NSAIDs, using a wheat bag and gently stretching, but what else can I do?
Last night was the first time since Tuesday that DD actually slept, but I was woken frequently all night with pain, each time I moved slightly in my sleep 😴

When I injured my shoulder, I found that lying on the non painful side, and resting my other arm on a pillow in front helpful when sleeping.
