Any tips for how you deal with sciatica flaring up?

I usually only get it bad when pregnant but 9pp it’s been getting worse and worse and now it’s fully flared up and feels like someone is holding tin foil to a filling, yet in my back 😬 The pain is making me feel sick and I have a 9mo, 2yo & 5yo to look after.

I had this and found it so hard to function with little ones. Tried everything- physio, chiropractor, a range of drugs and in the end acupuncture really helped to release the nerve. The accupuncturist also suggested pressing your back/shoulder/wherever the nerve is trapped against a wall with a lacrosse ball. Tiger balm massages too. Good luck- it’s horrific!

I’ve been told by physio’s to put on pressure but it’s like lightening bolts shocking through me when I do, I want to be sick when I do it 😷 I’ll get a hot bath later and get hubby to dig in after a couple of wines 😆 thank you, I’ll definitely look into acupuncture, never thought of that!
