Help can stress cause a fever

I broke out in a fever. 38.1.

I am up to my fucking eyeballs in stress. Just wondering if stress can cause a fever.

I have an underlying condition that causes infections so I don't know if that's flaring.

I have health conditions that can cause a random fever including when I'm stressed. But I don't know if stress can cause a fever in healthy people, don't think it can?
