CT Scan - Pancreas

Hi,

After finding significantly raised pancreatic enzymes in my blood, I have been referred for a CT scan. I have had blood taken in preparation for the scan, but I have no idea how long waiting lists are for this sort of thing.

Could anyone tell me how long I may have to wait.

I think a lot depends on where you are. We are Cheshire and my partner has been waiting a year for an urgent gastro appointment off the back of scans. They just keep sending him for more blood tests and scans and we never get to see anyone to talk through the results! Thinking of going private.

Yes, we are in N Yorks, and the waiting times are probably similar. I am sorry that you and your partner are waiting so long for much needed surgery and tests.
