Has anyone tried this for digestive issues like acid, nausea and IBS?

I’ve only ever heard of it being used illegally to cause an abortion, OP. There are far better and safer treatments available ofer the counter or from your GP, for acidity etc such as omeprazole.

I hope not since my mum gave it to my brother when he was 11 for allergies 😂

Its vile stuff op, as in tastes nasty and makes you want to vomit but it was in liquid form back then. Does Holland and Barrett or super drug do it, and do they have reviews on their site?

Sadly PPI’s give me migraines Babdoc, Slippery Elm is safe, it’s classified as a food supplement. I don’t think it’s been used for abortions for donkeys years and I’m old and hardly likely to get pregnant lol!
Pixiedust1234, yes it’s available now in capsules, H&B have quite good reviews on their site but I’m never sure if online reviews are genuine or not.

I’d recommend talking to a herbalist for specialist advice if you are looking at the alternative/ complimentary route. I have used slippery elm on my dogs for digestive issues and it worked well.
