Can anyone offer any advice as GP is awful...

I have suffered with my skin since a young teenager, I'm now in my late 30's.
I was back and forth to the GP for years in my early 20's and tried every cream, wash, tablet etc and nothing helped.
Fast forward to when I started the contraceptive pill. I tried quite, all of which made my skin worse and my mood low until I tried Yasmin and it was like a dream!
For the first time ever I had completely clear skin and could go make up free.

I was on it for years before I developed migraines and GP took me off of it and started me on the mini pill. Skin got worse and migraines didnt improve so I stopped it as we were also wanting to try for a family.

And this is where I am now.
Baby is 10months old. GP put me back on the mini pill for contraception and I have developed really bad acne, to some extent its cystic.
They prescribed me Duac cream (again) which hasnt helped at all. If anything its made thimgs much worse by burning my skin and bleaching everything I come in to contact with.
GP doesnt want to prescribe anythibg different or refer me on.

So, does anyone have a skin care routine which may help?
I have very combination skin. Some areas are super oily, others dry. My face has scars from some of the deep spots which have burst.
Currently using The Body Shop oil free seaweed wash and moisturiser.

I have had marvellous results with La Roche Posay three step acne regime. I also found their Cicaplast Baumé B5 really soothing on inflamed skin on my forehead.

You really need a dermatology referral if you have exhausted all the topical treatments available. Accutane is an incredibly effective and safe drug. I am in my 50s and have been taking it for 4 months. It has transformed my confidence and I can go without make up for the first time in years. NHS waiting times are ridiculous, so it is worth paying for a private consultation to be seen quickly.
