Just wondered if anyone still experienced symptoms after an outer ear bacterial infection appeared to be clear? I've had various drops and then flucloxacillin tablets, but after finishing the flucloxacillin have still experienced slight feeling of wetness and very mild itch in ears, plus pain when press on the tragus. I was about to start erthomyacin (however you spell) once pharmacy had it in (long story) but drs receptionist just told me my swab tests were clear! Plus pain has now gone, just v mild itch now and and steange feeling of wetness. I may be able speak to very busy drs this week if lucky, but just curious whether people have had some symptoms after infection gone. Thanks!
