Diarrhoea and vomiting and AWFUL stomach pains

Started with a fever Saturday night, high temp all day Sunday, vomiting late in the evening.

Felt better Monday and then the diarrhoea started.

If I eat within the hour I am on the loo.

Is there a bug doing the rounds?

stomach flu can last for days rip .My daughter had not thrown up in 24hrs and had not diarrhoea in 48hr so i thought she was fine.Nope threw up across the classroom

its hard to tell depends on the person. isotonic drinks and crackers,nibble crackers.dry crackers or plain toast nibble see if you can tolerate it.Once you can tolerate it see if you can eat a bit more and so forth

There seem to be never ending stomach bugs going round. We had so many before the end of last term!

I always have Enterosgel in my cupboard to help speed up the recovery process. It gets rid of the bacteria in your gut that causes the D&V. Kids can use it too!

Sounds like you've had noro. Nasty but clever little bug. Works by sort of paralysing your stomach so everything in has to come out and takes a few days to get going again. Maybe a bland diet for a little while, easy to digest stuff.

This is what DH suggested I had, awful, felt really rough

Still temperature coming and going and exhausted by the end of the day!
